    CreeWolfspeed offers an extensive 12-week internship program that aligns with our new hiring model and talent development strategy. Students a part of our internship program will develop knowledge and skills across their areas of interest while gaining insight into unit operations. Additionally, you will have the ability to apply academic concepts to real–world business challenges. An intern has the opportunity to be a key strategic contributor from the ground up.

    What you need for success:

    Enrollment in an accredited collegiate program

    Maintains a 3.0 GPA or above

    Excellent communication skills

    Relevant Experience

    Ability to work without sponsorship now or in the future


    Who You’ll Work With

    Opportunities in this internship may include: 

    • Develop, code, configure and integerate Enterprise Systems
    • Information Systems that run high tech factories
    • Work with Manufacturing Process Subject Matter Experts on Process Engineering
    • Learn how Infrastructure plays a critical role in Manufacturing Systems
    • Learn Skills of Software Development Lifecycles through Agile
    • Learn how to become a Business Analyst/Business Architect

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Sophomore or junior pursuing Computer Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree with strong programming skills
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (REL 6 or 7)
    • Bash shell script programming
    • Exposure to Tcl (Tool Command Language) programming preferred
    • Exposure to SQL programming and data manipulation preferred
    • Exposure to VB.Net or C# or other programming language using .Net Framework.
    • Familiar with basic IT software and hardware fundamentals
    • Working knowledge of Windows 7, 10 and MS Office Suite
    • Self-motivated and able to work well with limited direction and supervision
    • Excellent attendance and reliability
    • Ability to work well within a team environment
    • Detail oriented, organized with sense of ownership of area of responsibility
