    Talent Development Leader  

    Cree is seeking a Talent Development Leader to join the Talent Development Department at our global headquarters in Durham, NC.  This role is a new position and will play an integral part of a rapidly expanding team.  This role will lead highly visible projects across a select group of departments.

    Playing a key role, the Talent Development Leader will have responsibility for organizing initiatives to shape Cree’s workforce capabilities.  This person will report to the Head of Talent Development and will partner with the other key HR business leaders on strategic developmental activities.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with business leaders to understand capability requirements. 
    • Establish and implement ongoing portfolio curating plan for offerings within the learning and development portfolio including selection of external vendors, suppliers and facilitators
    • Carry out plan for Learning and Development portfolio mix that includes business development, project management, risk/required training, compliance, and core functional and professional skills.
    • Manage relationships with other Cree content providers and with other vendors for content capability development portfolio.
    • Assemble effective, scalable, and affordable curricula.
    • Partner with instructional designers and developers to establish clear and relevant learning objectives for new or updated offerings within assigned portfolios
    • Review and validate designs with instructional designers and developers at key development milestones.
    • Maintain industry knowledge and awareness of trends related to leadership and management.
    • Provide key thought partnership to the L&D team in executing the vision and strategy of the learning development portfolio as a leader in the space.
    • Facilitate behavioral and leadership based trainings. 

     Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, organizational training, organizational development, corporate education, performance support, or equivalent required.
    • Master's degree in adult learning/education, leadership, organization development, change management preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience internal or external learning role including design, development, facilitation, program management, and curriculum development, within career, management, and leadership development domain.
