This job opportunity is for an Assembly Fixture Design Engineer with understanding of and experience in fixture design and implementation for a manufacturing environment supporting the volume production of silicon carbide power modules. The ideal candidate would be proficient in 3D CAD such as SolidWorks and have experience in designing machined fixturing and tooling, sheet metal part trays, automated part feeding, dimensioned prints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, product data management systems, quoting and follow-up with machine shops to get parts made quickly and accurately, etc. for a production environment. Implementation of these fixtures into the production equipment is also a requirement of the position. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with experience in the electronics or semiconductor industries.
