    Sr. Salesforce Administrator


    Job Summary:

    The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for supporting and developing solutions built on the platform to help streamline platform and business processes. Team members should possess both the technical and communication skills necessary to interface directly with internal stakeholders to administer and enhance the system accordingly.  This position requires experience building declarative solutions (workflow, process builder, visual flows, custom objects, etc.) that achieve business value results. Understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Pardot, and the platform using Apex, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP strongly desired. Team member will also be responsible for end user support and customer satisfaction.

    What can you do for Cree?

    • Grow and enhance the existing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, and Pardot/ Marketing Cloud.
    • Gain understanding of company products, functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures.
    • Assist in defining business processes and recommend solutions to help streamline those processes.
    • Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities to solve business problems and recommend best practices.
    • Maintain and develop workflows, triggers, and utilize process builder to meet user/ system requirements.
    • Translate simple to complex user requirements into functional and actionable software.
    • Work with other developers to design integrations between systems across the enterprise.
    • Provide thought leadership on best-in-class online customer and partner community architecture and deployment.
    • Integrate Live Chat and Live Message within current Service Cloud environment as well as integration with customer facing sites (Public and Communities)
    • Create and verify execution of software user acceptance test plans, including integration, capacity and performance testing.
    • Participate in the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
    • Execute code deployment, configurations, and activities supporting sandbox environment creation and preparation.
    • Work with Salesforce Support to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation and performance of the platform.
    • Maintain Users, User Roles, Security, and Profiles.
    • Act as the liaison to corporate initiatives and projects.

    Skills and Certifications:

    • 7+ years of overall IT experience and a record of success supporting a fast-paced business organization, providing technical expertise while applying best practices and leveraging core platform capabilities.
    • At least 5-7 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer in a fast-paced environment, working as a team member or individually to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately with minimal supervision. Experience must include working knowledge of Sales, Service, Communities, and Pardot; experience integrating other 3rd party AppExchange products, and integrating with back-office ERP systems.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce platform and Salesforce DX including configuration, triggers, process builders, workflows, visual force, apex coding, custom objects, batch processes, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL, and database design.
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator (Certified Administrator, Certified Advanced Administrator) required.
    • Salesforce Certified Developer a plus.
    • Salesforce Certified App Builder a plus.
    • Experience working as a member of an Agile Scrum team preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
