    As part of the Manufacturing Systems Team within the Cree IT organization you will take responsibility for the success of Cree’s semiconductor manufacturing departments.  Use your knowledge of manufacturing and programming to provide guidance and solutions to that department through the use of custom and commercial applications. 


    Responsibilities include troubleshooting application and SQL errors, modifying and developing applications, answering user questions, developing SSRS reports, providing business analysis, and writing requirements and design documents for complex custom applications.  Use of VB.Net, T-SQL, SSRS, and Manufacturing Execution Systems will be essential to the programmer/analyst’s success.  The programmer/analyst will interact directly with internal customers, developers, and analysts.




    • Develop and enhance applications (VB.Net and T-SQL) per user requirements.
    • Provide applications support for commercial and in-house manufacturing systems.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical problems with manufacturing applications.
    • Develop and troubleshoot reports (SSRS and T-SQL).
    • Drive root cause analysis for recurring incidents and develop preventive solutions.
    • Document applications and related processes.


    • BS degree or equivalent experience.
    • Skilled programmer.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.


    • BS degree in Industrial Engineering, MIS, or Computer Science,
    • VB.Net for Windows and Web.
    • SSRS and SSIS experience.
    • Microsoft T-SQL.
    • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
