    Senior Identity Management ARS Engineer 

    Senior Identity Management ARS Engineer will join a team of security professionals to practice and advocate to improve the security of Cree’s corporate environment every day.  Ideal candidate will need to have strong foundational expertise in all areas of Information Security, great analytical skills, ability to manage very complex and diverse systems and mentoring to junior team members.  Ideal candidate is someone who wants to take on challenges in the building of security infrastructure, who thrives under pressure with the challenges of integrating myriad cutting edge technologies, and who is looking for opportunity to influence Cree’s overall security posture. 

    Ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in managing Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) and Recovery Manager for AD (RMAD), and is able to manage all aspects of IdM operations globally leveraging ARS in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

    Qualified candidates will provide prompt and quality support with a high degree of customer satisfaction.  Successful candidates must understand the importance of maintaining a 24x7 production environment.  The ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations is a must.  A good personality and excellent written and verbal communication are very important.  Individual must be able to work well with limited direction and supervision, be detail oriented, extremely organized, and self-motivated with sense of ownership in their area of responsibility.    

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for administration and management of Quest Active Role Server (ARS)
    • Responsible for administration and management of Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory (RMAD)
    • Manage daily operations of identity and access management tasks utilizing ARS
    • Implement work flows and automation through ARS to drive efficiencies and consistencies
    • Implement new features and enhance existing features to ARS
    • Manage Cree AD domain while maintaining exceptional hygiene
    • Develop and maintain authentication and authorization services
    • Expert level knowledge of Identity and Access management Lifecycle
    • Experience delivering authentication services to cloud providers such as Azure and Oracle cloud
    • Work cross-functional IT teams to continuously improve world-wide visibility and stability of all identity management infrastructure
    • Detailed documentation of tickets including symptoms, causes, and root cause resolutions
    • Create and maintain knowledgebase associated with identity management infrastructure
    • Provide Tier 3 support for AD related tickets
    • Mentor junior members to raise overall capability and skillset
    • Assist in providing data for internal and external audits

    Required:

    • Expert level knowledge of Windows 2003, 2008, 2008r2, 2012 and 2016
    • Expert level knowledge of Quest Active Roles Server
    • Expert level knowledge of Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory
    • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD
    • Expert level knowledge of PowerShell and ARS Scripting
    • Working knowledge of DNS and DHCP
    • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS
    • 7+ years of demonstrated job experience for Active Directory
    • 7+ years of demonstrated job experience for Quest Active Roles Server
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
    • Ability to support a wide array of IT services
    • Ability to quickly learn various IT tools and systems available 

    Preferred: 

    • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree or equivalent experience
    • MCSE and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certification
    • Additional certifications in operating systems, databases and programming languages a plus
    • Prior experience with CyberArk and Varonis a plus
    • Prior experience with SIEM is a plus
