    About the Position:

    Seeking a highly motivated and dynamic marketer to join our Corporate Marketing Team. As the Marketing Automation Manager, you will be the resident expert on marketing data and technology helping to strategize and implement best-in-class automation programs for Cree’s business units. The desired candidate will have hands-on experience with email marketing technologies, understand what triggers buyer behaviors, exhibit analytics analysis capabilities and have technical expertise in marketing automation platforms. This is the perfect opportunity for a marketer interested in building robust skills in marketing automation, web/digital analytics and data-driven marketing.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Work with business unit marketing teams and corporate creative to translate marketing strategies into effective, purposeful and persuasive communication.
    • Work with external agencies and internal marketing teams to design/produce/edit campaign emails and lead capture web/landing pages.
    • Manage, produce and implement various types of email campaigns including triggered sends, drip tracks, nurture series and single-send announcements/newsletters.
    • Utilize marketing automation platforms such as Pardot to implement lead scoring models, manage audience segmentation and build workflows into SFDC.
    • Assist with the creation of landing pages including updating on-page content, building pardot forms and crafting associated programs.
    • QA test programs to confirm correct set up in the marketing automation platform and CRM.
    • Monitor and communicate performance metrics for high level stakeholders.
    • Document marketing automation processes, programs and procedures.
    • Act as the Corporate subject matter expert on all things Marketing Automation related.
    • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how Cree’s inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine Cree’s process to convert customers.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.


    • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a passion for working with systems/data.
    • Excellent communication skills with proven business acumen.
    • Demonstrated experience with email marketing tools i.e Pardot or similar (Marketo, HubSpot).
    • Experience with email marketing and/html email production.
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS a plus.
    • Experience with web analytics.
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and work cross-functionally.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
    • B2B Marketing experience a plus.

    Experience & Education:

    • 3-5 years professional experience in marketing automation
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate experience
