    IT HCM Business Analyst

    Job Summary:

    The IT HCM Business Analyst will report to the IT HR and Legal Solution Delivery Leader. The ideal candidate will possess strong Human Resources systems knowledge and business analysis skills and provide Oracle EBS analysis, support, enhancement, and project services to global HR and Payroll business stakeholders.

     

    The IT HCM Business Analyst will serve as a key IT point of contact to business functions as well as CREE Solution Delivery teams for the execution and resolution of projects, incidents and service requests related to HR and Payroll business systems including Oracle EBS, ADP Payforce, Kronos, iCIMS and technical integrations between these various applications.

    • Provide Oracle EBS analysis, support, enhancement, and project services.
    • Functional design and development leadership to key HR and Payroll systems projects and enhancements including work scoping and estimation, work execution, work review and approval, and general issue troubleshooting and resolution.
    • Hands-on functional and technical design, set-up, and development services as required, converting business requirements into robust and scalable global solutions aligned with CREE’s enterprise architecture and integration strategies.
    • Analyze Human Resources business processes and work flows; complete fit/gap analysis, gather complex user requirements, recommend process improvements, implement new or enhanced enabling business and technical solutions.
    • Work closely with vendor, onsite and offshore resources providing high level of service and ensure adherence to CREE’s ERP Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Office (PMO) standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    What you need for success? 

    • 7+ years relevant experience in a HR/HCM business analyst role.
    • 5+ years’ experience leading and supporting technical development of Oracle ERP HR solutions and integrations.
    • Proven ability to lead internal and external resources through the requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment phases of HR and Payroll projects.
    • Experience implementing HR and Payroll systems and solutions.
    • Ability to conceptualize and communicate potential solutions to business issues that may extend beyond your sphere of responsibility.
    • Ability and desire to learn new technologies independently as required by the needs of the business.
    • Ability to work within a 24/7 global organization.

    Skills and certifications

    • Oracle EBS R12 (Core HR, SSHR, OAB, CWB) required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related fields or equivalent experience.
    • Kronos Time and Labor experience preferred.
    • Learning Management Systems experience preferred.
    • Cloud-based HR, Payroll, and Learning and Development implementation experience a plus.
