    Job Description:

    • Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in a production/clean room environment
    • Terminating and testing data cable inside data closets
    • Install, program and trouble shoot Digital/IP based network cameras on a private IP network
    • Experience with IP subnetting
    • Must be dependable and be able to work Monday through Friday with occasional afterhours work required
    • Perform quarterly maintenance on cameras and network infrastructure
    • Create maps from blueprints

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Minimum three (3) years’ experience pulling and terminating data cable in a commercial environment
    • Ability to install data racks and associated network hardware, including switches, fiber termination panels, patch panels, UPS and similar equipment
    • Ability to understand and interact with LAN/WAN systems
    • Ability to install conduit, work with “uni-strut”, and work at elevated heights both in lifts and on ladders
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Proficiency with Windows OS and video management software
    • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
    • Attention to detail
    • Willingness to adhere to OSHA safety standards
    • Must be responsible, self-motivated and a self-starter
    • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75-pounds
    • Ability to read blueprints

    Preferred Qualifications & Skills

    • Five (5) years’ experience pulling and terminating data cable in a commercial environment
    • Fiber optic installations including termination and splicing
    • A+ and/or Network+ Certified
    • Experience with card access systems
    • Low-voltage electrical experience
    • Knowledge of analog devices
    • Experience with boom lift operation
    • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design
