    Cree Global Operations is looking to add a Production Maintenance Manager to our team. This job opportunity is based in Morgan Hill, CA with our newly acquired LDMOS and GaN fab (formerly part of Infineon).  You will be part of Wolfspeed’s RF & Power Operations group. 


    Due to ITAR Regulations, this role must be filled by a US Citizen or a Green Card holder.

    What can you do for us?



    The Production Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining all production equipment in our 24hour /6days clean room production, for the spare parts management and meeting all our procedures. This person plans and directs all activities within the Production Maintenance Department. Provides daily direction and leadership to the department team members. Makes recommendations for manpower needs, including involvement in recruitment and in the selection process.


    • Leads a team of maintenance technicians (about 10 in total) in three shifts.
    • Works closely together with Production Manager/supervisors and operators to reach goals
    • Provides  technical support to maintenance team
    • Accountable for staffing, training, motivation and leadership within area of responsibility; Develops a team work environment; Builds departmental standards for performance; Ensures that all employees in the Maintenance department are properly trained
    • Establishes and maintains procedures for maintaining equipment and preventive maintenance
    • Recommends and assists in implementing operating procedures and promotes continual improvement within the department and the company
    • Monitors the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the Maintenance department
    • KPI reporting
    • Ensures that daily goals are met and sustained daily/weekly/monthly
    • Ensures company policies and procedures are reviewed often and notifies the Operations Manager when such policies or procedures may need to be revised to increase work efficiency in the Department
    • Identifies roadblocks to processes and procedures and offers suggestions for improvement
    • Oversees all ESD, equipment calibration and preventive maintenance activities
    • Equipment to be maintained: Die Attach, Wire Bond equipment, RF–test cells and more.
    • Complies with ISO and company requirements
    • Promotes a safe work environment and ensures that all employees in the Maintenance Department are following safety rules and regulations
    • Performs other duties as assigned


    What you need for success:


    • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to ITAR regulations.
    • Electronic and/or mechanical degree
    • Three to five years related experience including managing people
    • Knowledge of equipment maintenance.


    Preferred experience with Microsoft office including creating presentations in power point
