    The Cree Global Operations team in Morgan Hill, CA manufactures high power transistor products for the Cellular Infrastructure. In this position, you will be a member of the product engineering and test team that ensures product quality and performance are met.

    • Get exposure to a state of the art manufacturing and test process.
    • Be part of a team that specializes in automation and highly efficient test techniques.
    • Become proficient in the characterization and test techniques of high power GaN transistors.
    • Gain insights on the design for “manufacturability” process at Wolfspeed through our New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

     

    What can you do for Cree?

    • Implement efficient test techniques for high volume RF power transistor manufacturing.
    • Provide DC and RF product characterization, root cause analysis of failures and recommended corrective action.
    • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), product yield improvement and product cost reduction (test optimization).
    • Provide technical support to the factory for ongoing manufacturing.

     

    What you need for success:

    • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or another engineering degree considered with experience
    • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident/green card holder
    • 3-5 years of experience within the RF power semiconductor industry
    • A hands-on, technical approach
    • Strong communication skills

     

    Highly preferred skills and certifications:

    • Experience with high power RF products (LDMOS, GaN, etc.)
    • Experience with RF automated test and measurement equipment.
    • Statistical data analysis skills using (JMP, Excel) and Data Management.
