    L3 Technical Analyst – SharePoint & Office365

    Summary:

    We are looking for a talented L3 Technical Analyst, specializing in SharePoint & Office365, who is a dynamic out of the box thinker. This person will be responsible for working with multiple solution support groups on all aspects of an enterprise support including enhancements, projects, deploying, maintaining and providing operational level 3 support for End User Technologies and Collaboration. They will assist teams in the creation of the documentation and processes to allow transition to our existing support teams with a “shift-left” mentality.

The ideal candidate can prioritize critical tasks and as a key member of our Support Solutions staff, the candidate will work closely with other team members to support and document solutions for all EUT/Collaboration activities. They will be expected to prepare documentation and implement best practices for provisioning services to ensure investment in technology is consistent with business objectives and validate processes and cross train team members

    The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask whilst also providing exemplary service to clients. They will work in an environment that fosters cross-training, collaboration and voluntary knowledge transfer.

    Qualified candidates will provide quality support with a high degree of customer satisfaction, technical expertise and timeliness.  Support will be provided following a detailed ticketing system.  Successful candidates must understand the importance of maintaining a 24x7 production environment, the ability to work well under pressure, and handle stressful situations. A good personality and excellent written and verbal communication are critical to success. Individuals must be able to work well with limited direction and supervision, be detail oriented, extremely organized, and maintain a sense of ownership.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Address incident escalations related to Collaboration and End User Technologies Service Offerings from the Service Operations teams as well as external vendors
    • Work with Level 2 teams for knowledge creation and sharing, document creation, and facilitation of best practices across work streams
    • Provide mentoring, guidance, ad hoc training and feedback to all levels of staff, both IT and end users where appropriate
    • Hyper-care & VIP support during new product rollouts, upgrades, and changes
    • Work with staff members across multiple verticals to resolve issues
    • Maintain departmental standards, procedures, and documentation

    Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors:

    • Working knowledge of Office 365 Services including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for business and Skype Online
    • Working knowledge of maintaining and supporting all components of Office 365 Service Administration
    • Working Knowledge of Office 365 PowerShell
    • Experience of SharePoint administration development experience for managing and supporting sites on SharePoint Online
    • Experience of SharePoint Migration from 2007 to Office 365
    • Understanding of migration tools for migrating site content to Office 365
    • Working knowledge of IT operations and support of critical corporate technologies
    • Understanding of infrastructure technologies including networking, servers, information security
    • Understanding of AD Topology
    • Experience working with ServiceNow
    • Experience working with remote teams
    • Experience with vendor management
    • Experience leading/co-leading projects to completion
    • Offer flexibility and adaptability, especially during times of change
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong technical documentation skills
    • Ability to conduct research into technical issues, standards and products as required
    • Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

    Required:

    • AS Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • At least Five (5) years of increasingly responsible systems administration or support

    Any work-related experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels in the above Minimum Qualifications is an acceptable substitute for the above specified education and experience requirements.

    Preferred:

    • Administration of Office 365 technologies, including:
      • SharePoint
      • Exchange
      • OneDrive
      • Skype for Business
      • Office 365 Management tool
    • MS PowerShell
    • ITIL Certification
