    Position Title:  IT InfoSec & Ops Service Delivery (Project Manager)

    Summary:
    Cree Information Technology is seeking an InfoSec and Operations Service Delivery leader that will be responsible for the ownership & execution of projects throughout the Infrastructure/Operations and InfoSec project teams reporting directly to the head of InfoSec & Ops as well as helping the organization make the transition to a DevSecOps model.

    Working with key stakeholders and service owners, the Service Delivery lead will be involved in various stages of the project planning lifecycle as well as helping to champion the collaboration and communication between the development, InfoSec and operations resources.

    • This position functions as a leadership role in helping to define the team's best practices and good governance across the spectrum. Reporting on project progress, offering viable solutions and opportunities as they arise.
    • Oversight of project/product-level strategic and tactical plans, monitoring and adapting as needed.
    • Creation of project plans, objectives and maintaining project budgets. Managing resources, schedule, portfolio and implementation of change practices.
    • Monitoring production and quality to customer/stakeholder/sponsor standards.
    • Leading meetings and setting expectations for project/product teams. Provide detailed reporting on projects and portfolios.
    • Leading by example, seeking consensus and helping the team to be greater than the sum of its parts.
    • Focusing on transition the organization over to an agile, DevSecOps and true CI/CD culture.

    The Service Delivery leadership role requires a street-smart project management approach to successfully deliver high quality outcomes while managing project constraints and risks.  This role will assume ownership over various projects phases including the structure, plan, execute, monitor, and reporting on all projects spanning multiple Infrastructure, Operations, and Information Security personnel and systems.  The systems and services primarily pertain to core enterprise systems consumed by all areas of the business, including networks, servers, storage, as well as modern SaaS services.  To meet the needs of our global enterprise one will need to be able to work effectively coordinating resources across multiple geographic regions and time zones, while balancing multiple project scopes, deliverables, and balance competing priorities.

    Successful candidates must understand the importance of maintaining a 24x7x365 always on production environment.  The ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations is a must.  Due to the volume of interaction with internal customers, a good personality and excellent written and verbal communication will be essential.  Individuals must be able to work well with limited direction and supervision, detail oriented, extremely organized, and self-motivated with a sense of ownership in their area of responsibility.   

    Key Requirements:

    • Agile/Scrum and/or PMP certifications are a plus.
    • 3+ years infrastructure related project management experience in a multinational and multicultural environment (directly managing budgets, resource plans, schedules, issue tracking/remediation, risk analysis, etc.)
    • 8+ years working with infrastructure & operations systems, preferably with functional product ownership.
    • Proven leadership skills, with expertise in conflict resolution.
    • Analytical and demonstrated organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and visual, with the ability to work across business and IT / development teams.
    • Proven influential leadership skills with a results-based approach
    • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar planning & scheduling tools
    • Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple end-to-end projects
    • Proficient knowledge of analysis techniques, tool usage and standards
    • Successful track record of effective resource management
