     Title: Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician

    Department: Supply Chain

    Shift: 1st shift + 1 weekend day
     
    Summary:

     

    The Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician II is primarily responsible for managing finished wafer inventory and preparing finished materials for shipping. This individual will need to show an attention to detail and quality. Flexibility is critical to success in this role. This opening for 1st shift with 1 weekend day.

     
    Responsibilities:

     

    Work closely with a team of other semiconductor manufacturing techs and engineers

    Perform independently various aspects of Materials processing and fulfillment according  to established procedures

    Utilitze cross-functional communication, in regards to customer service, shipping and operations

    Delicately handle, process and sort wafers

    Deliver materials internally to other departments

    Use vacuum wands

    Drive an electric golf cart

    Initiate quality inspections and dispositions of manufactured products
    Summarize and communicate findings accurately to engineering team and management
     
    Minimum Requirements:


    Associates Degree in Engineering or Science OR at least 2 years in a technical role
    Candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)

    Able to adjust to changing priorities and schedules
    Able to follow verbal and written work instructions and communicate clearly
    Able to coordinate several tasks in multiple areas
    Able to demonstrate and communicate complex work instructions, observe performance to specification, provide required feedback to assure knowledge is transferred.
    Proficient in MS office applications, primarily Excel
    Good manual dexterity and mobility
    Ability to work independently and as a part of a larger team of technicians and operators
    Must have a flexible work schedule and the ability to work overtime on short notice 

     
    Preferred Qualifications:


    3+ years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably semiconductor

    Cleanroom experience
