    This Technician role will be a part of the manufacturing operations team in the Power & RF Epitaxy department. Technican will assume ownership of delegated departmental responsibilities and assist supervisors with wafer management and disposition. This opening is for a 12 hour day shift.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support for management and disposition of wafers into and out of the department.
    • Perform special processing of material and assisting engineering team with non-standard material management through Manufacturing Execution System.
    • Communicate with Materials business to procure appropriate starting material.
    • Handle disposition, tracking, and logging of non-conforming material.
    • Reorganizing starting inventory to match production needs.
    • Daily cycle counting and tracking of wafers throughout the process.
    • Inspection of all outgoing material to meet customer requirements.
    • End of line quality checks.
    • Incoming material quality audits.
    • Creation and editing of inspection and disposition documentation.
    • Providing real-time feedback to team regarding identification of out-of-spec wafers.
    • Provide feedback to training team and supervisors regarding misprocessed material.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
    • BS degree, two-year technical degree, or formal technical / military training preferred.
    • At least 1 year of semiconductor processing experience in a cleanroom environment required.

    Preferences:

    • High energy, self-motivated attitude with strong communication skills and ability to interface effectively with coworkers of different backgrounds at every level of the company.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to handle sudden changes in daily priorities and to make and stand by difficult decisions.
    • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
