    Manufacturing Engineering Intern

    The goal of this project is identifying the breakeven point for sending material back to be reworked. This is a complex problem with many variables, but ultimately the solution will allow Cree to optimize the usage of our material and save money going forward.

    Responsibilities

    • Collect and analyze complex data from multiple sources
    • Collaborate with multiple stake holders throughout the company including finance and engineering teams.
    • Report findings to leadership
    • Work with mentor to implementing changes based on the results

    Requirements

    • Presently working towards an ABET accredited Industrial engineering degree
    • Strong communication skills
    • Eager to work in a team environment and independently as needed
    • Detail oriented
    • Microsoft Excel Experience

    Preferred

    • Microsoft Access Experience
    • JMP Experience
