RF Applications Intern

This internship position will work in a semiconductor facility alongside our RF application engineers, they would perform tests on GaN discrete transistors and/or MMICs and compile data in usable format to support engineers. The assignment is expected to be for the summer months (May-August).


  • Perform tests on GaN discrete transistors and/or MMICs.
  • Characterize and debug test fixtures and test systems.
  • Design an application circuit by using harmonic balance and planar electromagnetic simulation tools.


  • Currently enrolled in a BSEE or MSEE degree program.
  • Knowledge of Electronics or Circuit design.
  • Experience with s-parameter and large signal CW, pulsed or modulated signal measurements. 
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate must be a US citizen or Green Card holder


  • RF circuit design experience.
  • Experience using AWR Microwave Office or Keysight ADS
