As an Intern for Power Applications you will carry out simulation, analysis, design and test of high-frequency switching circuits, from gate drive to a complete AC/DC, DC/DC or DC/AC converter using SiC devices under supervision of senior engineers. The primary goal of this intern position is to model the thermal performance of TO-263-7L devices in a new reference design. Another task is to conduct survey and evaluation of existing gate drive circuits used in high-frequency switching power supplies, and provide cost-effective and reliable gate drive solutions for SiC devices. A successful candidate must have a good knowledge of designing high-frequency power converters, thermal modeling using ANSYS software, thermal measurement, and strong communication skill.
