    IT Enterprise Integration Lead

     

    The IT Enterprise Integration Lead will report to the Solution Delivery Lead, Enterprise Systems & MDM, and will partner with other Solution Delivery, IT Planning and Architecture, IT Operation teams in defining and executing Cree’s IT Enterprise Integration strategy, roadmap, and service capabilities.

     

    The IT Enterprise Integration Lead will lead a team of internal and external partner resources charged with the support, enhancement, and expansion of EDI technologies supporting Cree’s EDI Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions (consisting today of OpenText GSX BizManager/Biz Mapper, CONEXIOM, and Oracle E-Commerce Gateway)

     

    The IT Enterprise Integration Lead will evaluate the state of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technologies being used at Cree, the strategies and roadmaps of Cree enterprise applications, general EAI industry trends/directions, and define an overall EAI strategy, roadmap, and delivery capabilities for Cree. 

     

    The IT Enterprise Integration Lead will direct partner resources to provide high level of service and ensure adherence to CREE’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Office standards.

     

    Job Responsibilities

      • Partner with other Solution Delivery, IT Planning and Architecture, IT Operation teams in defining and executing Cree’s IT Enterprise Integration strategy, roadmap, and service capabilities,
      • Lead a team of internal and external partner resources charged with the support, enhancement, and expansion of EDI Business-to-Business (B2B) technologies and oversee overall services delivery for EDI technologies across production support, enhancements, and projects,
      • Evaluate the state of Cree’s current EDI technology and service capabilities and work with Division IT Leads and other IT Business Relationship Managers to align EDI solution, standards, and delivery capabilities to business strategy, demand, priorities, value, and timing,
      • Provide transformational leadership globally as Cree continues to build out its Enterprise Integration solutions,
      • Evaluate the state of Enterprise Application Integration technologies being used at Cree, the strategies and roadmaps of Cree enterprise applications, general EAI industry trends/directions, and define an overall EAI strategy, roadmap, and delivery capabilities for Cree.,
      • Execute Cree’s EAI strategy and lead the implementation of organizational, procedural, and technical capabilities needed to stand up Cree’s Enterprise Application Integration function,
      • And ensure IT projects and services adhere to Cree IT Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Office standards. 

     

            Requirements

      • 10+ years of progressive experience delivering enterprise IT services as well as structuring and leading IT organizations/teams charged with the support, enhancement, and expansion of EAI and EDI technologies for a global enterprise,
      • Ability to define and execute EAI and EDI solution strategies and roadmaps as well as establishing enterprise delivery standards and capabilities,
      • Ability to lead and direct global IT service teams comprised of onsite & offshore Cree and service partner resources,
      • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities with excellent written and verbal communications skills,
      • Ability and desire to engage with organizational units outside one’s own reporting structure across a global enterprise in driving Enterprise project activities forward,
      • Ability to clearly explain complicated technical solutions to non-technical individuals,
      • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills,
      • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment,
      • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability,
      • Ability to influence and lead change,
      • Proven ability to deliver despite obstacles,
      • Ability to work within a 24/7 environment across multiple time zones,
      • Ability to travel domestically (20% - 30%) and internationally (< 5%).

     

    Skills and Certifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related fields,
      • Experience with manufacturing, ideally in the Industrial Electronics and Electrical Equipment industry,
      • Experience delivering EAI and EDI projects in conjunction with an Oracle EBS ERP backend, including working exposure to Oracle E-Commerce Gateway
      • Working exposure to several software development methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, Iterative),
      • Proficient with the Project and Portfolio Management Tools (MS-Project, MS-SharePoint, MS-Excel, etc.).
