Job Summary

 

We currently have a job vacancy for a Semiconductor Production Worker in our Power Modules Department. This position is located at our Fayetteville, AR site.

This job is part of a team of production workers in a high technology electronics assembly and manufacturing environment. Due to expanding operations, we seek to add another skilled production worker to our team.  As a key member of a small team, you will need to be able to solve problems in a fast-pace setting, and you will learn how to perform duties across several different assembly areas.

What can you do for Cree? (Job Responsibilities, Day to Day responsibilities)

  • Operate semiconductor electronics assembly equipment and machines
    • Wire bonders
    • Vacuum reflow ovens
    • Pick-n-place
    • X-Ray / CSAM
    • Chemical etchers
    • Microscopes
    • Lasers
    • Robotic dispensers
  • Assemble electronic devices and modules
  • Inspect materials and assemblies
  • Inventory receipts and inspections
  • Test & measure product to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Use and read measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, meters, and testers
  • Perform work in a clean-room setting (gowning up daily)
  • Assist engineers and techs as needed
  • Follow processes of the AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • Always required to be a team player and be highly self-motivated

 

What you need for success: (Minimum qualifications-quantifiable qualifications)

  • Candidate must be a US citizen or Green Card holder
  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Highly preferred skills and certifications (Preferred Qualifications, still quantifiable):

  • Electronics manufacturing and assembly experience preferred
  • Cleanroom manufacturing experience preferred
