Job Description

Cree is looking to add a Sales Operations Analyst to our team in the Durham Global HQ location. This position responsible for enabling LED Product Sales Operations and will focus primarily on supporting the LED Sales commission process. Other responsibilities include maintenance, customer master data maintenance, ad hoc reporting, and general sales support. Candidate must be detail-oriented, disciplined and able to work independently. A love for problem-solving, data and analytics is required. Sales commission and/or payroll experience is preferred, as is proficiency in systems and spreadsheets. Travel not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support management of entire sales commission process including planning calendars, communication with sales field, creation and validation of territory definitions, programming Callidus commissions software, calculating and validating sales credits and sales incentive calculations, creating and distributing commission results to sales team, and providing timely support for sales commission inquiries.
  • Master commission calculation details and demonstrate superior understanding of sales credit data.
  • Maintain strong relationship with sales team including Regional Vice Presidents.
  • Provide unmatched customer service to Sales team by providing clear communication and timely responses to sales credit inquiries.
  • Execute quarterly project goals related to commissions and sales credit reporting using effective project management practices.
  • Maintain Callidus platform, territory definitions, reports, and datasource integration to outside systems
  • Maintain Tableau dashboards used to communicate sales credit and incentive results to the sales field and sales leadership.
  • Maintain customer master data.
  • Liaise effectively with internal IT resources to successfully execute related projects.


  • 1-4 years of data analyst experience.
  • Strong MS Excel spreadsheet experience.
  • Natural problem-solver, self-motivated, team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Prior experience with learning and mastering new software systems.
  • Drive and flexibility; able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, organization and professional presence.
  • 4 Year Bachelors Degree


  • Prior experience with sales commissions and/or payroll. (Callidus)
  • Experience using and/or supporting
  • Tableau Desktop experience.
  • Strong project management skills.
