Job Description

Wolfspeed (Cree's Power & RF division) is searching for a Sub-Fab Inventory Technician to be responsible for safe storage, staging of plant parts and equipment, recording details, and using the database. Movement of parts to new locations, trash bins or crating for shipment to offsite storage. Performing of general PM work may include water top off on chillers, pump checklist, cleaning of equipment parts etc. Possibly expanding role to fab PM work based on needs and shown ability.

 

 Job Responsiblities:

  • Assist in entering incoming parts into parts room database Responsible for good housekeeping conditions in all areas associated with material storage.
  • Crate larger equipment in wood crates for offsite shipments to vendors etc.
  • Off loading of parts to appropriate storages areas.
  • Cycle count inventory areas and provide updates as required
  • Take unwanted equipment to trash or recycle bins.
  • Put together and label new shelving
  • Complete Subfab PM’s based on in-house training and schedules

What you need for success:

  • Able to use simple computer programs and type at a reasonable pace.
  • Must be able to use lifting moving equipment (pallet jacks etc.)
  • Familiar with cycle counting inventory parts
  • Able to use common hand and power tools in safe manner
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Experience in HVAC/chiller/pump/valve PM would be a plus
  • Experience in a chemical or semiconductor company as a technician another plus.
  • Must be a self starter and work with minimal supervision
  • Able to climb a ladder
  • Able to lift 50lbs
