Job Description

 

Cree is seeking to add a Document Control Administrator to our organization. This position, which reports to Cree’s Manager of Quality for LED Products Business Unit (BU), will be in Durham, North Carolina. He/She will be primarily responsible for managing the company document management system and ensuring document accuracy, quality and integrity. He/She will ensure compliance to organizational Document control, and departmental Record retention requirements. The employee will be a key member of a project activity to transition the company to a new document management system platform. He/She will receive training and carry out Internal Quality audits to assure compliance to ISO9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and company requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, manage, store and track company documents
  • Scan, image, organize and maintain documents, adhering to the company's document control procedures
  • Archive inactive records in accordance with the records retention policy
  • Training employees on document control process and records retention process
  • Audits of Organizational documents, records and processes

 

 

SKILLS

  • Prefer experience with Database creation, implementation and database management
  • Adept with Microsoft Office products
  • Must have experience with document control software
  • Prefer experience with Winshuttle/ShareVis/SharePoint
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask with a high degree of accuracy and recall
  • Adept at planning, organizing and prioritizing work
  • Demonstrate ability to develop and manage relationships
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Adept at working in a detail oriented environment
  • Demonstrate strong Interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must possess strong written, oral, interpersonal, group and telephone communication skills

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree in related field preferred
  • ISO9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 Training preferreFluent in English
  • US citizen or Green card holder
